Thanks, Sonny, for coming out; and it was great to see Nesim, Michael and Sayat.

We demonstrated an agent which simply walks random vertices until it hits the goal; some constraints:


  • The agent always starts at a vertex (even after teleportation).
  • The agent gets two percepts: a list of visible vertices and a goal-predicate (which is true if the agent is standing on the goal).

It turns out that, even with a random walk, the agent still scores net-positive in a network with c. 500 nodes.

We've now got to do the work of building an internal model of the world and planning accordingly.
