Danny's Session Synopsis:

With the release of Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 just around the corner there are many questions to be answered. What is the WinRT development platform? I'm a traditional .NET developer, why do I care about WinRT? Is it true that apps written for WinRT will run on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8? We will cover all of these questions and more in this session. We'll cover how to create a WinRT project and what the key components are. By the end of the session you will know how to build a WinRT app for Windows 8 and how to adapt it for Windows Phone 8.
