Web Development for Beginners
Thursday, September 19th, 7pm-8:30pm
Jennifer Aprahamian, Full-Stack Web Developer

Are you a creative, entrepreneur, or project manager that wishes you could speak tech with your web development team? Maybe you've been thinking about learning to code yourself? Jump right in with Web Development For Beginners -- we'll help you navigate those waters, and show you how easy it is to get started!

You will leave the workshop with a better understanding of what HTML, CSS, and Javascript are, and what goes into front-end web development, as well as a taste of the coding side of things.

Student Takeaways:
A basic familiarity with the role of front-end development in the internet ecosystem
A taste of coding in HTML, CSS, and JS, via a code-along with our instructor.
Some best-practices to help you be a more effective developer (or work with a great team of devs)

No prior coding experience is required. Bring a laptop to class, and be prepared to start coding!

This is a beginner-level class; if you're already familiar with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS, and are looking for more, we recommend trying our Front-End Web course.

About the Instructor:
Jen Aprahamian is a full stack developer and member of the General Assembly teaching faculty in Los Angeles. She especially enjoys teaching beginner-level courses and fundamentals, because learning to code should be fun and accessible for everyone.

So appreciative! Actually got over my coding block - thought that would never happen - very clear and straightforward.
