Designers Who Code

  • Oct 5, 2013 · 5:30 PM

Designers Who Code Panel
Saturday, October 5th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Drinks and Pizza will be served

Should designers learn how to code? Join us on Saturday October 5th to hear from a panel of designers who are well versed in code. They will be discussing the advantages of being able to code and will go over what designers should know about development.

About the Panelists:
Steve Boyer is a designer, engineer and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience developing technology and creating content for a wide variety of interactive media including video games and electronic toys. He served as Director of Research and Development for Interactive Entertainment at Vivendi Games and is the founder of 3 startups.

Alex Horn is currently part of the Named Data Networking research team at UCLA's REMAP where, funded by the National Science Foundation's Future Internet Architecture initiative, they're writing applications to test a safer, faster, more open and efficient Internet. Regardless of platform or language, designing experiences remains the primary challenge.

Jeff Earhart is the Creative Lead at Kastner & Partners. He previously was a software engineer at CBS Radio and spent many years building flash websites.
