You heard it -- our mostly silent sponsor, Technical Connections, are treating folks to a cold frosty one after a long hard day of staring at multiple monitors. Just go up to the bar and ask for a TCI Brew and the bartenders will either look at you like you’re crazy (too early), or they will ask you to decide among a literal bevy of beers. But stay away from the Chimay: They’re just launching a website - it’s not like they got Series A money to blow through.
Commemorative pint glasses have been forged for the final LATHH bash of Q1 and when the dishes are done / glasses are gone, it means the tab has been maxed out. (please feel free to keep the glass)
But stick around, as the SmtihHouse has a plethora of other beers to choose from and there will be a plethora of superb technologists to talk to. (And yes…we know what a plethora means).
Every week, TCI’s new site www.technicalconnecitons.com (or www.tci-la.com for short) presents 1-2 super spanking hot technology opportunities located in the Los Angeles Area. The positions run the complete technological gamut, so check back often…one week it could be a help desk role with insane upward mobility or a VP of Tech at a major brand and the next it could be a RoR developer, but they promise not to post a Ruby on Rails job every week (dang those guys are hard to find).
Oh, and there are also lots of useful tools like The Resume Generator and Interviewing Tips and a potpourri of tech-centric articles too.
Hate to do this, but due to the sheer magnitude of their website, or just because they’re giving away beer, we are going to have to cap this puppy at 250.
