Bummed I missed it--how about doing Tuesday on the patio of Pink Taco @ the Century City mall instead of Saturday Geo? My Santa Monica-based startup teamSQR is doing 2-4-1 pitchers of margaritas + a free order of queso ($9 value) for any "team" of 4 or more friends who signs up on teamSQR.com and shows up between 6 and 10pm -- would be really awesome to get the support of everyone in the local startup community :-)

Great mix of local tech entrepreneurs. Who knew! Great venue. Lets also do a Saturday afternoon meet in the sun somewhere with a deck and see who comes to hang out, chat tech and drink a beer with like minded people.

It was good but seemed a bit unorganzied. It wasn't clear how things like pizza and drinks worked, and because we were mixed in with regular patrons it wasn't clear who was part of the networking and who wasn't. Perhaps name tags would be in order? But a fun crowd, though. I had a good time.

Also - it would have been better to negotiate a drink special beyond just bottles of wine. Most people were singletons...
