Introduction

Hello. I like tech and I like frothy mugs of beer... I build websites - lets talk about what I can do for you.

What's your interest in LA Tech?

I like the basics. HTML CSS javaScript - Purely working responsively now. Would refuse a 960 static page job. I think about content strategy - content management systems, and of course, design. I am interested in rails - or finding a really good reason to learn it. I am also interested in native mobile apps and other stuff like python. I build songs and light shows using midi events and I do a bunch of performance stuff. I've toured the world and I've realized that it's time to focus on one thing for a while. That thing is currently the web. I am freelance - but might be bought by the right shop.

If you could see anything change about the LA Tech community, what would it be?

I am just getting involved - as far as I know - the LA tech community only exists on my desk.

What's your favorite beer?

I love a racer 5, a stone/lagunitas IPA, and for pilsner - I like a liter Nastro Asuro peroni. (green label) - but don't mind the cheap beer either. rolling rock has been 7.50 a 12 pack for a while... drank a bunch of that...

Know any good happy hours in LA?

Footsies in Highland Park is pretty great - they have a happy hour till 8 - not too many people - there are tables for people's laptops if they want. Free pool til 8. 2 dollar pabst and cheap wells - I'll be on the lookout for others. -
