This Photoshop workshop is being geared more for beginners but anyone is welcome to attend.
We will be covering the basics in organizing and basic retouching of your images. We will concentrate on blemishes and softening of the skin only for the retouching aspect of this session. If you want to do other types of editing, we can have a different session of that as well.
This is a Photoshop workshop and I will be using CS6 to do the demonstrations. These actions can be done in any version of Photoshop CS. This is not a Lightroom class.
Since my photography deals with more models than anything else, I use Photoshop exclusively when retouching my images. Lightroom will not do for me the retouching needed to accomplish the desired result. I use Lightroom to give the overall image a different feel altogether but for retouching I use CS6 exclusively.
Though you do not need Photoshop CS or a laptop, I recommend you bring one to the class so you can follow along with what I am doing.
We will start off with how I personally sort, identify and label my images all in batch processing modes. I do not identify each image individually, I let the program do that for me and I will show you how that is done.
For the retouching part of the session, I will provide the RAW images for you to practice.
Below are before and after samples of what we will be using to practice with.
The fee to attend this class is $20. There is a limit of 20 so space is limited.
