  This UCLA Charles E. Young Research Library Exhibit celebrates Václav Havel’s extraordinary work and legacy as a writer, dissident, and political leader, and will feature a collection of visual materials illustrating his contributions to arts and culture, politics and democracy, human rights and civil society.

October 8 – December 19, 2013, UCLA Powell Library Rotunda.  This event is part of the Mutual Inspirations Festival, an annual initiative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, D.C., featuring extraordinary Czech personalities whose work has greatly influenced and inspired others. 

Free and open to the public. RSVP for admission to the opening reception.
