Veselé Vánoce! (Merry Christmas)

Christkindl Market – Winter Wonderland

(formerly The Christmas Bazaar)

(just across the freeway from the Jagerhaus where we normally meet –

exit the 57 freeway at Ball Road, go 1 block East, right 2 blocks South)

To open the holiday season this year, we will be meeting at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim and enjoy their holiday brunch buffet. The extensive menu offerings are on the following page and include many items that are traditional Czech/Slovak food.

Cost of the meal is $29.95 per person which is only slightly more than last year’s cost, and includes sparkling wine. Everyone will pay for their brunch directly as they go through the buffet line. We will have a reserved seating area so we can eat together and have our meeting. We will meet at 12:30 as the buffet service ends at 2 p.m.

Our program will include selection of our Board for the coming year, and sharing of family Christmas traditions and memories. So, please put on your thinking cap, or do some research, and bring up those great memories and family traditions from the Czech and Slovak areas.

The Christmas Market is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. They offer crafts, vendors, entertainment, more food and beer and a kids area. You are welcome to experience the market before and/or following our meeting.

RSVP with the number in your party by Wednesday, November 28th , so we will have enough seats set up in our area, by “replying” to [masked]

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
