So as it turns out the Chiefs weren't quite the defensive juggernaut they were made out to be. I'm sure many of us who have friends (or family) from Kansas City got pretty sick of hearing how Manning was going to get the bolts knocked out of his neck.
I'm pretty sure that at the end of the game his jersey was still pretty clean...
Next up: The NE Patriots led by the Evil Emperor with his disgusting little sidekick JMcD in tow.
The Pats host the Broncos after a heartbreaking (and apparently somewhat controversial loss) on the last play on MNF against the Panthers. And for the first time in a very long time the Pats are actually *underdogs* at home. I think that, by now, it's clear that we're having a very special season. So think we'll beat the Pats in their house? Guess it'll depend on how much video Bill was able to sneak of our practices. I say there's no way their defense can keep Manning and our outstanding corps of receivers (+ a pretty awesome receiving TE) in check.
And since Brady is prone to stupid mistakes when he gets frustrated (and even with Gronk back the Pats aren't the passing threat they once were) I predict that Miller has a breakout game and smashes the pretty off Tom's face.
See you all at Brennan's on Sunday - this is gonna be a good one.
