LABroncoFans Message Board › Thank you all for a wonderful season!

Well another Broncos' season has come and gone, but unlike recent years this one ended on a hopeful note.
I've got to admit, I was pretty down after the game (even though I knew the odds were stacked against us deep down I still somehow believed we would pull it out at the end - that's the old Mile High magic that's been missing for so long).
But the next morning I woke up with a big smile on my face. We'd come from the basement of the AFC West (hell - the basement of the NFL with the second worst record in the 2010-2011 season) to one of the 8 teams in the divisional round in the playoffs.
New coaches, new players, new schemes, quarterback change in the middle of the Chargers game - and to top it off no offseason and a much shortened preseason. And yet we were able to (finally) field a fairly competitive team.
Our final game of the season showed us how much work we still have to do (can we PLEASE get some young CBs and a monster DT in the draft in April???) but I hope no one loses sight of how far we've come.
It was amazing season and I feel incredibly lucky to have spent it with such a wonderful and dedicated group of people.
Like Jason said - let's all get together in the offseason. And for those of you with busy schedules who won't have much time...please mark April 26 on your calendar (1st round of NFL Draft).
I look forward to celebrating another exciting season of Denver Broncos football together.
See you all soon!
