I live in Evansville. Indiana where we don't have much organized kayaking. The Louisville members have been great to paddle with. There are plenty of meetups within a two-hour drive to make participating more than worthwhile.
Hello Mitch, I just found this site today after joining the St. Louis Tesla Enthusiasts Club. I still have your glasses case that you left in the car after our last hike.
I got an urgent message from Meetup saying an opening had come up on the springs trip and I had to respond quickly to get my foot in the door. I thought Meetup automatically goes down the waiting list in order and puts the next person on the yes list. What is your understanding?
Mitch! Thanks again for such a good weekend. I loved the Sunday trip on the Current more than words can express. Today I took my camera out of the rice and it is in perfect working order! YEA! I will get the pics to you as well as the stuff we talked about for your 1st aide kit. Just have not got totally caught up yet.
Hey Mitch, I'm Dads ride for the hike on Sunday. I'm also the only one left on the wait list. If no one else cancels before than I will probably still come to bring Dad and take a chance someone doesn't show. If you do end up getting all show I will do my own thing while you guys hike. Hope this is ok.
Hi Mitch, great to meet and paddle with you on Saturday. Hope you can join us again. We have some great paddles coming up if you have never done the Caney or Cumberland. I haven't done either but am told the water on the Caney is clear, cold, trout-filled, and scenic! Lots of fishing on the Cumberland as well and really COLD. Thanks for letting me sit in your boat...would love to try out a long boat like that sometime. Would love to hear more of your adventure stories!
I am relatively new to the area and am open to ideas! Feel free to post here if you're looking
for people to join you...there is one member who likes to canoe maybe she likes kayaking too?
