No introduction yet
Hi Mikel. Wish you would have said hi-- I was a bit preoccupied-- sorry! As to showing up the other day, I was really just looking for interesting conversation and new ideas... Keeps my brain and heart from getting crusty! (-; Thanks! See you again some time.
Thanks Mikel, I'll join those as well. I'm over here in Madisonville, not many groups around here. lol The wife and I just returned from the Reason Rally and had such a great time we're looking for other Rally's and Events to participate in. And get to know other free-minded people as well. I look forward to getting to know you and your group.
Hi Mikel:) I work at night and may not be as active in the group as I'd like to be. I am just happy to be connected to some other people who won't be trying to shove Xtianity down my throat. I have only lived here in the 'Ville since Oct. 2009. Sundays are pretty much the only day I am ever free. I check into facebook a few times a week (I'm trying for every day)
Well, thank you! I'm actually Eric, but I'm happy to be here! I see that someone is asking about some good literature. I just finished 'The Jesus Mysteries: Was the 'Original' Jesus a Pagan God' by Timothy Freke. The references alone make the book amazing. It's confirmed what I've studied for years and years, and the historical perspective is hard to debate! Frankly, I think any religious person should read it just to gain insight into how manipulated religious literature really is!
Can you give me some recommended reads? I read an article posted about 9-12 months ago and loved it.
Hello Mikel, I am Bill Kilby and seem to not have access to the boards. All of them are read only and no place to make a comment on post. Am I missing something? Thanks
No, it doesn't matter if you need to stop and walk cause I do after the second loop usually. I would be happy to run at what ever pace you are comfortable. No worries. And since its been getting a bit dark on us, we've been running the gravel track: flat and easy!
