RE: [Louisville-Area-Canoe-Kayak-Group] New Meetup: Floyd's Fork - Second Attempt

I stopped by Miles Park to check the water level. It looks perfect!
As long as it doesn't rain more than 1/2 inch overnight it should be fine.
I'm still not sure if I'll be there but I hope to be.

Announcing a new Meetup for Louisville Area Canoe & Kayak Group!

What: Floyd's Fork - Second Attempt

When: May 16,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: We're going to give Floyds Fork another try this Saturday, May 16th 11:00 AM.
It appears the creek is still running fairly high with chances of rain in the forecast between now and then - and to top it off, a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. In other words, there's a good chance this trip may end up getting cancelled -- but its worth taking a chance. Theres also a possibility that we could change the times if it means avoiding thunderstorms.

Hopefully by Friday afternoon, we'll know for sure and either cancel or continue on. Please RSPV with the assumption that the conditions will be favorable.

We will put-in at William F Miles Park and take out at at the Fisherville canoe launch ramp. The total distance is about 6 miles.

More information about the paddle can be found here:

We will meet at William F Miles Park at 11:00 to work out the shuttle details depending on how many people show up.
