Do you need a registration or permit to kayak in KY? Indian requires a lake use permit for certain areas but I couldn't find anything on the web about KY.

Andy you do not need a registration or license (YET) for a canoe or kayak unless they are equipped with an engine, based on everything I know.

However, like some Indiana lakes, there may be some specific areas that require a use permit for that particular area, such as entering Otter Creek car by vehicle.
