Dear members,

I know this is far from most members, but I do have some members in Orange County too and it is worth driving.

Popi Terzi is originally from Athens, Greece and has published two cookbooks ("Athenian Cuisine" and "Encore: More of Popi's Athenian Cuisine").

She's been teaching how to cook Greek food for 20 years and her food always tastes amazing. I'm already drooling to think of them now! lol

The menu:

"We will prepare a fancy and easy menu for your family and friends. We will start out New Year’s dinner with the traditional freshly crusty baked New Year’s Bread, with a Coin in it. The person who finds the coin will have a good luck in the New Year. Delightful new recipe caramelize onions and Kalamata olives, and topped with goat cheese, accompanied with a new recipe delicious savory Tart, with squash, leeks, three kinds of cheeses, and nuts in puff pastry, and then a refreshing Salad for your appetizer. Succulent Chicken Atzem Pilaf, simmering in fresh tomatoes, for your entrée. For dessert we will prepare luscious Chocolate Ganashe Tort, which will be served with a cup of Greek Coffee.
