For my 16th Bday my mother made a traditional 5 course, Italian meal with homemade pasta. I had a few friends over and we're still talking about how amazing that meal was to this day.
I would say intermediate. I have about a year and a half professional experience with no formal training. My specialty is American cafe cuisine...salads, sandwiches, & baked goods.
I always had homemade meals growing up, and although I wasn't very hands-on in the kitchen, I developed an appreciation for cooking. I started cooking in college and after trying my hand in the corporate world, I turned to cooking as a profession.
I'm new to meetup, and this group seems like the perfect place to start. I'm a chef who's always looking for inspiration and I absolutely love to eat and try new things.
