Europe - there are so many more places in Europe that I want to visit like Greece, Spain, Prague, etc...
A long time ago I had dinner at Sona in L.A. and we didn't know what the chef was going to serve us for each course. It also had a wine pairing with each course. It felt very fancy and luxurious but the plates were so tiny that we were stil hungry afterwards!! Also I had a great dinner at Ben & Jack's steakhouse in New York. I had a 2 pound lobster that was so amazing I ended up eating the entire thing! I recently went to Strip Steak in Vegas and they served a shredded, sauteed brussel sprout dish that was amazing. And I don't even like brussel sprouts.
Beginner on some foods, intermediate on others
I like hearty and gourmet food but I ususally cook only healthy things - stir fry vegetables with chicken, fish, etc. I want to learn to cook more decadent foods. I would much rather eat it than cook it but I love a nice dinner with good wine so I want to learn how to make fabulous dinners of my own so I have dinner parties.
I love dining on good food and would like to learn how to cook more dishes. I hope to do more cooking now that I have moved much closer to work and eliminated my hour commute.
