French, Japanese and Indian.
Paris - the most beautiful city in the world!
It was a 14 course tasting menu with wine pairings at David Myer's restaurant Sona a few years ago. Although it was very expensive, it was worth every penny! A never-to-be forgotten meal!
I think I fall somewhere between intermediate and advanced. I don't have a specialty since I have cooked French, Italian, Japanese, Indian, Thai, and American and like them all.
I have always loved good food and I think that is what made me interested in becoming a good cook. After enjoying a great dish I would try to recreate it at home. Also, I have some friends who are very good cooks and we love to share recipes and suggestions for new restaurants.
This group seems like the perfect combination of some of my favorite things - meeting new people, good food, cooking and French! I lived in France for a time and was fluent then, but now need to refresh my language skills, especially vocabulary.
Enjoy the cooking demonstrations the most.
