I don't think I have just one.
When I was a tutor for a family in France, we would have large meals together at a great big table, in their country home with the trees outside blowing in a nice breeze, and the river behind whispering a soft and relaxing sound. The food was great. We sat and savored while talking over every course of the meal without rushing or caring about anything else. We ended with coffee and later a glass of cognac or armagnac. It was wonderful.
Well... I was raised by a mother who is an excellent cook and baker, and I helped her a lot in the kitchen. So, I'm able to cook a lot on my own. I love to cook once I get started, but for some reason, I don't make the time for it anymore. I'd like to bring it back into my life, and doing it with other people seems like a fun way to bring it back.
I don't eat much meat, but what I like to eat and drink, I really, really enjoy. In general, I like mediterranean food or foods with lots of taste and texture that satiate. And I LOVE desserts!
I love eating, and I like to explore different foods. I also speak fluent French, so anything French interests me.
I like their events. They're interesting and fun. I really like the people.
