What is your favorite vacation spot?

The whole world, anything that involves adventure.

Describe the most memorable meal you've ever had

The 2nd time I had Ethiopian. The first time was indifference, the 2nd time was LOVE. The way the fish flaked off into my injera, the fassolia (string beans/carrots), but mostly the injera...the way it stretches, is sour, the way that one side is filled with popped bubbles/holes and the other side isn't...oh tastiness in my mouth.

What is your cooking level? Beginner, intermediate, advanced, professional, etc... and which type of cuisine is your specialty?

Intermediate Advanced. I am queen of putting whatever is in the fridge together. No particular style, just work with what I have. I think I do a tomato based pasta sauce pretty well.

Please tell the group a little bit about your interest in food and cooking

Sports + food is ideal for me. I will run many miles to get to good food. I love to think about it - daydreaming, my life generally revolves around what and when I get to eat, if I am being kept from eating whenever it is I want, I feel like someone is being inhumane to me, I do love to cook, but seriously most of all, I love to eat it. I eat slowly and take forever. I HATE being rushed with my food. I enjoy the different experiences within one meal...from how hot it can come out to the changing temperatures as my meal progresses. I am ok with it all. I love textures, spices, smells,'s all very sensorial for me. Mmmm food.
