Christmas dinner: Turkey with oyster stuffing, Roasted lamb with fresh mint jelly, string beans with almonds, succotash, mashed potatoes, candied yams with brown sugar and marsh mellows, cranberry sauce and a lot of homemade baked treats!
I enjoy cooking, but haven't in the last year because all of our household is presently in storage. We're in the process of purchasing a new home. Intermediate level - cuisines are Californian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and Italian
My mother always loved cooking and remarried an Italian when I was 12 who loved it just as much. She encouraged my siblings and I to express ourselves by cooking up family meals. Everything I know about cooking I learned from her:-)
I spent some time in France, and have family living there as well as an old college boyfriend. I've always wanted to learn the language.
