Italy(Sicily, Puglia, Piemonte, Campania Marche, Abruzzo etc etc but anywhere there really) France (anywhere, anytime but August) Japan (only been once but cant wait to go back).
Well the most beautiful was at Thierry Marx's in Pauillac and the most delicious at Raymond Blanc's Manoir des Quat'Saisons outside Oxford
It's been as long as I can remember. More about the eating of food than the cooking of it, I want to try things that i could not, would not cook. I like to photograph food.... That being said, I have taken several cooking courses in Italy, in Campania, Sicily and le Marche and absolutely loved the cameraderie of people from all walks of life working towards a common goal and then devouring it!
I live to eat and drink (and enjoy cooking when I have time). I am pretty adventurous and love to try new combinations of flavors. I will go out of my way to make a pilgrimage to an interesting restaurant, winery, architectural curiosity or garden.
