Join us Tuesday, March 4th, as Photoshop artist Stephen Burns returns to LADIG. This time, Stephen will talk about how he utilizes Lightroom and Photoshop together in his amazing photo montages.
If you have found yourself stuck on how to bring your vision to fruition due to the technicality of your digital tools then join Stephen Burns in this insightful presentation titled “Going Beyond the Camera”.
“One of the blessings and sometimes curses of being an artist is that we have an innate drive to create beyond what we see and experience. As artists we often do not accept what we see as the final means of expression but instead we push beyond our experience to express another world of our own choosing.
As a result, largely due to the advent of the computer, we now have the capability to create using all visual tools.
My presentation will share the adventures of using several creative traditions with Photoshop to express yourself using your own unique voice.
In this presentation we are going to continue the venture of being artists by sharing how to use any imagery to express a vision that goes beyond the single digital image.”
