I have 10 FREE (really!) tickets to the West Coast Premiere of the play "Complete" at the Matrix theater on Melrose. UPDATE: There are currently 9 people signed up including me, so I have one more FREE ticket to give away. Who wants it?
The play starts at 8pm, but I thought we could meet beforehand and have drinks and/or dinner at the Snakepit Alehouse, just a couple of blocks from the theater.
MORE ABOUT THE PLAY: “Complete” - Two obsessive linguists and a nine-year-old zealot meet head-on with the magnetic leader of an est-like group training seminar in a new, fast-paced comedy by Andrea Kuchlewska now playing at the Matrix Theatre in West Hollywood.
"Complete" is a comic, time-splitting wrangle over the power and perversion of language. When Eve finds out that Micah is doing “The Training,” she risks their careers, their relationship and their safety to prove just how destructive the notion of self-creation can be.
ABOUT THE SNAKEPIT ALEHOUSE:
Rising like a phoenix from the ashes (it literally burned down last year), and now featuring a rustic look, the Snakepit Alehouse has been a WeHo landmark for years. Featuring 20 beers on tap (ranging from $5 to $7) and a full menu including appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees, with everything from pizza to paella; fajitas to burritos, this place should be a nice place to have a drink and a snack before the show. According to yelp, they have a happy hour, and I will update with details when I learn them.
