I took over this group to help to continue the sense of community and respect for Los Angeles and all of the great things offered here.

I'm going to keep the settings so that members can communicate with one another, and please, when you have something great that you know about, a great idea for an activity or place to visit, please post it here.

I've noticed that a lot of meetup groups flounder because it's hard for people who don't really know eachother to make a committment to meet up and hang with one another. Most of us are hard pressed to get together with close friends and loved ones in our busy lives. So, when groups of people do get together and have an experience, it's kind of a miracle.

I'm going to post workshops and seminars that I host in Los Angeles up here, and I hope all of you will do the same.
