This is a training group for people to get together and learn some practical self defense. We use Filipino martial arts as a base but we incorporate many other things including JKD, MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, western fencing, western boxing, WWII combatives and much more. Our philosophy is we'll use whatever works. No particular style is represented. Everyone shares what they know. We each endeavor to develop our own individual style while simultaneously assisting our training partners to do the same.
We train with empty hands and various weapons. We train to defend ourselves in all ranges: long, middle, short, standing grappling and ground grappling. We try to keep things simple using gross motor movements. We try to be as realistic as possible. Above all we keep safety first.
All levels are welcome including total noobs. When you come the most important things to bring are a positive attitude and an open mind. Please don't come trying to push your style or philosophy on us. Do bring whatever training equipment you have such as eye protection, escrima sticks, boxing gloves, boxing head gear, street hockey gloves, thai pads, focus mits, mouth guard, etc., etc. If you don't have equpment you can still train. There will likely be extra equipment for you to borrow until you can get your own. BRING WATER!

The reality is there is nothing that can be done to make martial arts training 100% safe. You are likely to suffer bumps, bruises, strains and sprains. If you can not participate accepting that you will not sue anybody for anything that happens during training then you are better off just observing. At all times only you are responsible for you.
