Meet & Greet @ El Nopal!

Yes, I know this is a Tuesday. Believe it or not, not everyone has a regular schedule and this Meetup is for anyone that can make it. I'm not interested in your whining about the day or time, just so you know.

Anyway, with that out of the way, get to know some geeky folk over some great food! I've eaten here literally dozens of times and the food is pretty good.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle, so try to arrive early. Metered parking is available on the streets and nearby, and they expire at 8, so you only have to pay for an hour (which is about a dollar, I believe). See you all there!

Note: Try to bring cash so we don't have to split the check too many times!

meetup at El Nopal?! No way!! I live right by there. Oh well, I should check the meetup group more often. :(

Next time you all are in Culver City, I'll be there again! :)

It was a pleasure meeting you both. Thank you for arranging this on a Tuesday. I can't wait for the next Tuesday event.

    Take care!

I live life vicariously and often have difficulty with committing to pre-planned events. If I wanted to attend could I just crash or are reservations truly required? It's the Punk Rock in me but it would be nice to meet some of you.

      Hi Tray,

I hate to say this but for most of the Meetups I highly suggest not crashing. The reason for this is that, in most cases, the physical space is often very limited -- especially with this restaurant, where I'm anxious that even 8 may be too many. However, there are often events where there is no RSVP limit because physical space is virtually unlimited, such as the movie meetups when we eat at the Food Court, or the Dia De Los Muertos event, or the upcoming Gay Days event. There will be more events in the future with looser space restrictions (e.g. I'm thinking about having a game day at the park, or the beach), but for now, if there's an RSVP limit, that's only because I kind of have to have one. I'm sorry!
