Swimming & Dock Diving

Trainer Troy Smith will be in the pool with your dogs.  This class is designed for all skill levels: from beginners to intermediate to advanced – even a little bit of dock diving!

Doggie life jackets will be provided; and special challenges will be given to more advanced swimmers.  You will need to bring floating toys, towels and a crate for your dog for when they are not in the water!

Each class is $25 per dog (see payment info below).

Meetup RSVP is required. Class is limited to 5 dogs to provide dogs equal amounts of time in the water.

Swim class payment must be made one week prior to class date. When you RSVP for this class, you will have the option to pay through Paypal. Please note, Paypal charges a convenience fee of $2. Alternatively, you may pay one of the trainers at one of the group classes. If payment is not made a week prior to swim class date, your reservation will be canceled and your spot given to next person on the wait list.

Parking is on Doble (the street behind the building).

NOTE: We require current rabies vaccination record for every dog who attends a LARPBO group class. If our office does not have a current copy, please bring one to the next class that you will attend.

Oh Megan, you so funny! I actually only have Dylan's crate to bring. I have his varikennel tethered down in the truck and its a bugger to get out! I believe Troy usually has extras.

Hey guys, there's 3 spots open for the 2pm class. Anyone willing to come earlier? I'd take you're 4pm slot, there's no way I could get down there by 2pm.

Hey Laurie! They actually don't allow owners in the water - just Troy and a staffer from Sunny Dog are allowed in. On the crate question - I don't have an extra but Troy might (I see Lori Miller is attending, too - I wouldn't be surprised if she had an extra (but don't tell her I volunteered her :)).

Should I plan to get in the water? I know Troy will be in there but just in case Paloma gets anxious. She'll probably be fine but I'm not sure. Also can I borrow or use someone's crate? I don't have one for Paloma.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
