Swimming & Dock Diving

Trainer Troy Smith will be in the pool with your dogs.  This class is designed for all skill levels: from beginners to intermediate to advanced – even a little bit of dock diving!

Doggie life jackets will be provided; and special challenges will be given to more advanced swimmers.  You will need to bring floating toys, towels and a crate for your dog for when they are not in the water!

Each class is $25 per dog (see payment info below).

Meetup RSVP is required. Class is limited to 5 dogs to provide dogs equal amounts of time in the water.

Swim class payment must be made one week prior to class date. When you RSVP for this class, you will have the option to pay through Paypal. Please note, Paypal charges a convenience fee of $2. Alternatively, you may pay one of the trainers at one of the group classes. If payment is not made a week prior to swim class date, your reservation will be canceled and your spot given to next person on the wait list.

Parking is on Doble (the street behind the building).

NOTE: We require a copy of current (1) rabies vaccination record and (2) dog license for every dog who attends a LARPBO group class. If our office does not have a current copy, please bring to the next class that you will attend.

NEW MEMBERS:  Please print and complete (1) New Member Form and (2) Participant Release of Liability and bring to your next group class.  Alternatively, scan and email to [masked].

My Pit was nervous as soon as his feet left solid ground and then a great teacher gave him 2 lessons and he has been a swimmer ever since - he even jumps off the side now- still awkward but he LOVES swimming in the pool so much that I just ordered a 25' x 13/ above ground pool for my backyard !!!

Loved our first class, I wish Bella took to it better since we want to take her boating and swimming this summer. Looking forward to next week to see how she does.

Nicole, it took Makana two private lessons to feel a little comfortable and even then when she first goes to one of her group classes I have to get her reacquainted. Let Bella take all the time she needs. Am sure eventually she'll surprise you once she builds the confidence.

This was Delilah's first time and it could not have been better. Troy, Mari and the rest of the trainers were so great. I'm about to upload photos and like any typical Mom, they are all of my child. ;-)

Poor Haiku had a look of terror on his face and was breathing like a woman giving birth ! :) He need to go again. He was really enjoying watching the other dogs play in the water! Thankyou Troy and the other trainers for helping Haiku learn a new skill.
