Saturday Group Training Classes (La Crescenta)

This is a group-oriented class that focuses on the skills needed for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification (we offer CGC evaluations throughout the year).

During class, we work on beginner to intermediate skills, including aggressive and selective behaviors.

Members can pop in for a class at their leisure for $15 per class. If you want to make this your regular training session, we offer one-year training membership for $300, which entitle you to unlimited training classes through LARPBO.

We’ve got a few forms all members must complete, so for your first class, please bring:

You can also scan and email these documents to [masked]. If you’re a current member, please make sure you’ve sent us these forms.

We look forward to seeing you and your dog!

Please call [masked] if you have any questions.

HI, I just signed up to this meet up class. Besides the proper documents, is there anything else I should bring with my dog? Toys? Muzzle? Harness? Thanks in advanced!

Hi, Xuan, welcome to LARPBO! We recommend a leash (non-retractable) and collar, either regular collar or a martingale type collar, because it gives you more control over your dog than a harness would. If your dog is reactive/aggressive with other dogs, a muzzle is a good idea. We have yellow "reactive" bands that we tie to the dog's leash/collar to let others know if a dog has issues in that area. No toys, please. Also, it will be hot out there today, and even though we are mostly in the shade, you should bring lots of water for your dog, and yourself! Looking forward to meeting you! You will see our LARPBO booth (red canopy) when you arrive, and that is where you will check in with your documents and pay for the class. See you there!

Also, Xuan, if your dog is treat motivated, it's a good idea to bring treats for them. :)
