My boyfriend and I adopted two from a local shelter. One is a blue pit named Archer, the other is a dane, dogo, bulldog mix named Moo. Prior to these two boys I had a rescued American Bulldog/Pit mix for 13 years named Kobe.
Both of our boys are neutered.
Ben and I need training just as much as the boys! We would love to have calm, well trained happy dogs. Right now they run the house and lack manners. It would be nice to get control back; we ultimately would love to be able to take them more places with us and have them be breed ambassadors.
Archer is technically Ben's dog and Moo is mine. Archer and Ben seem to have bonded really well, though now Archer is showing some signs of aggression towards other dogs (he growls, barks, and his fur stands up) . Unfortunately I have yet to really bond with Moo, I definitely adopted him too soon after the loss of my dog Kobe. I am hopeful that training will help me build a better connection with him. Moo is a very energetic dog, super friendly but seems to have very high anxiety and has a very hyper jumpy mouthy behavior that I would love to break him of.
