Our Am-Staff mix "Yoda the Jedi Pibble" turned one year old on January 1st, and on December the 15th he passed his Canine Good Citizen exam. We're so proud of him, and we're so lucky to be his human "parents". He has brought so much joy and fun to our lives, and has been an inspiring example of a true ambassador of his breed. Everywhere he goes, he amazes people with his sweet, loving disposition and his very good manners. We are so blessed to have him in our lives.
He is neutered.
Yoda is a wonderful dog and he has learned so much in the past almost 8 months that we have been a member of LARPBO. In December 2012, he received his CGC certification, and now we are thinking about starting Yoda on some Therapy Dog training. I believe he would be a wonderful candidate to share his gentle, loving spirit with those in need of some TLC. I have high hopes for him.
I am an almost senior citizen, but young at heart :)), and I have been an animal lover all my life. I have always owned dogs and cats, along with other misc. pets, and I have rescued many animals over the years. We became foster parents to Yoda, now a beautiful black and white Am-Staffie mix when he was 4 months old, and it wasn't long after that we realized we were going to be "foster failures" and Yoda became part of our family. Considering the fact that he was basically unsocialized nor housebroken when he came to us, he has come a long way. He has learned through the LARPBO classes, and a lot of practice at home, enough to be able to pass his CGC, and soon we hope to be starting Therapy Dog training. Yoda is a big, sweet, goofy, loving boy, and he is a true ambassador of his breed.

Hi, I'm Joellyn (Jody) Mumcian, I live in Los Feliz with my husband, my incredible "foster failure" pibble boy Yoda, his chihuahua "big brother" Bruno, two cats and our parrot, Lily. It's full house!
I am so happy to have discovered LARPBO, and so is my Pibble Yoda. He was learning well before the classes, but since we started them he has really made strides. I'm hoping that sometime in the future he will be able to take his CGC test......and hopefully pass with flying colors! The classes have also given me more confidence in training him as well.....thanks Troy, for all your help.
