I own 2 blue pit bulls > Riley Annefred (female) and Cooper Trenton (male) They're brother & sister, or more simply put: litter-mates.
They are fixed and chipped.
Training help, and guidance. Also some insight into what our dogs are thinking, and why. Just trying to understand them better, to build a more cooperative relationship & even stronger bond.
I'm 23, & live with my boyfriend Andrew in Redondo Beach. We had planned on adopting a puppy for a while, (a pit bull specifically) and when we finally found a pet friendly place -- with a yard, that didn't mind the breed -- we jumped at an opportunity to adopt. What's funny is, we never planned on taking-in 2 dogs... when we went to pick them up, in a not so nice part of town where (we thought) they'd probably end up on the streets, we just couldn't resist. There were these tiny, helpless creatures in front of us, and we just knew that we'd be able to provide them far more than what they'd been born into. So on a whim, we ended up driving home that night with - not one - but 2 new members of our small family. We had no idea what we were in for, we still don't. But to this day, we don't regret our decision one bit. Sure it's been difficult, as young adults we definitely made a bold move, but they make up our family and we sure do love them.
