Open Lab & National Robotics Week!

Greetings Everyone.  As the second week in April is National Robotics Week, we'll be celebrating the occasion with our Monthly Open Lab on Saturday the 12th!

Drop by the South Bay Entrepreneurial Center (Proud Home of the L.A. Robotics Club) to find out what we're all about.  I'll be doing a live (and lively) demo of the fairly amazing Pleo Robotic Dinosaurs and we'll have plenty of new robotics and microcontroller projects brought in by club members as well.

This is our monthly general meetup for members and guests to come see what we're all about. All robots and electronics projects are welcome!

This meetup is free and children are welcome to attend with an adult.  Snacks are provided and donations will be accepted to help pay for the costs to run the club.

Plenty of street parking and a lot behind the building.

ps - Our kind hosts at the SBEC are running the SBEC Business Development Summit tomorrow (April 1st) from 6pm to 9pm.  Tickets are still available HERE.  If you've ever wanted to start your own business these are the folks to talk to.

Anyone interested in purchasing a Pleo and learning to program it please message me on here. We can arrange a buying group for eBay so we don't cross-bid one another.

Thank you to all the presenters! The family is excited about the visit and participating in the Arduino program - please keep us posted when that is happening. Thanks!

I really wish I could go to this, but I have a conflicting appointment :( I've built 4 robots (from kits) since the last meeting I attended, and I wanted to show them off. Hopefully I can come next time!
