Designed and built my own computer during high school, then piled academic merits high&deep, then dabbled in industry. At the moment playing postdoc at UCSD.
I can do electronics on transistor level, but haven't really built robots yet.
Christoph, nice background. Mitch is a good guy. Cory Tobin has been helpful to me as well. Look forward to chatting with you. Cameron
Christoph, open source biosensing is such a rich theme. Have you had much opportunity to mess with many? Are there many lessons you've learned so far? Are you looking for collaboration? Do you have product prototypes built? I ask because this could easily be the theme of a meetup at which perhaps you present, we do Q&A and then we just get social around the theme. Let me know your thoughts.
Christoph, when last I wrote I may have provided you with a mistyped URL where at we're gathering information about our Maker Faire community. The correct URL is http://bit.ly/sandiegomaker. Also, we're meeting again in late May and would like to encourage you to join us. Details can be found on our Meetup page. See you there!
Liebe Gruesse Carmen
