FTDI USB Breakout boards

Hey everyone,

Our company has decided to make our own FTDI USB Breakout boards for use with Arduino and TI micros. It involves surface mounting a 28 Pin SSOP using a hot plate which I'm hoping to put a YouTube video about shortly. Surface mounting can be fun.

Let me know if you're interested in making your own USB controllers and I'll post some more info.

That sounds kinda neat... I would like to make my own modified RS232 to USB or just USB to microcontroller, circuit boards. I do solder, but its been a while for surface mount.

That's pretty cool. I'd be interested. :)
