LA/SoCal Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Chapter Meeting

Come and join us as at your local chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance. Please RSVP in advance.  We must have the names of all attendees by 3pm the day before the meeting.  With that in mind, RSVP "YES" and change it later if required.

Speaker Bio
Gary Landau has been leading IT teams and security initiatives for over 25 years.  For the past three years he has been the head of IT for Wilshire Associates Incorporated, which is a global financial services company headquartered in Santa Monica.  Prior to this he headed IT infrastructure and security teams at organizations such as the Screen Actors Guild, Loyola Marymount University and UCLA.  Mr. Landau has an MS in Computer Science, numerous technical certifications such as CISSP and CCNP, and is one of the founding board members of the LA chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance.

Presentation Synopsis:
"Defending Against APTs" - There has been rising concern about Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and what security professionals should do to protect their organizations.  In this presentation, Mr. Landau will highlight effective technologies and strategies to defend against APTs.  This presentation will be followed by a round-table discussion about how these strategies apply toward cloud computing, along with a discussion about Gartner's recent paper, "Five Styles of Advanced Threat Defense," which is a framework on APT defense strategies. 

Visitor parking is available on site on parking level 1. Look for the signs that say "Visitor Parking." Bring your ticket with you so we can validate it before you leave.  Entrance to the parking complex is available through the Cloverfield Boulevard entrance. Once you park, take the elevator from the yellow colored elevator bank up to the 1st floor. Walk to the security desk and tell them you are here for a the Cloud Security Alliance meeting at Cornerstone onDemand.  Please bring a picture ID with you.
