Interested in new people to ride with, new routes and destinations, any activity that includes scootering. I like the journey, the destination and having some company along the way.
Vespa LX 150 (kitted to a 190 with some other performance mods) Genuine Buddy 125
4 years.
All of the above.
"I also run the Genuine Scooters owner and enthusiasts forum, http://www.modernbuddy.com
, and help moderate the scooter Wiki at http://www.modernvespa.com
. My username is ercalm on both."
This is really a very casual, laid-back group of people who just want to ride together. There's no scooter snobbery or that other hostility seen in some groups. The group is very open to any and all willing to come without attitude.

"Now we know: Cathedral is the place to park downtown. Free parking for scooters! The city lots wouldn't even let us in. Otherwise nice ride and good destination. Unfortunately, I had to take off early. I didn't even get a churro!"
Ride this Weekend (Oct 10/11) to Malibu - Thousand Oaks?
"Dang, Wish I could… next weekend maybe… Have fun!"
Help with ideas. My helmet is making me breakout:(
"I think the V2s actually have some different liners depending on which design you get…"

"You have the Fulmer V2, right? From what I can tell, this does not have a removable liner. You can try cleaning it with Woolite and warm water then letting it dry overnight or even maybe blow drying it...."
Doo-Dah Parade: Group Costume Ideas
"The Pasadena Parade is much more colorful and festive than Halloween… Are you feeling particularly morbid these days, Skootz?"
Doo-Dah Parade: Group Costume Ideas
"Might be seen as infringing on the Vespastics, a somewhat defunct LA scooter club that keeps threatening to come back. There are various face masks and bandanas for riders that cost anywhere from $5-$15...."
"Is it budging at all or moving partially? How much force have you put into it?..."
"The GP Lights are pretty fun—the first couple times you do it. It's 40 minutes of practically walking your scooter along in the cold. I'd definitely be up for seeing some other lights. There were some suggestions last year; I'll try to dig them up."
