Every two years, intrepid scooter riders embark on a coast-to-coast endurance event called the Scooter Cannonball Run. This year, the event ends in San Diego on April 29. The 2012 Cannonball is the biggest ever, with 59 entrants riding everything from a '46 Salsbury to a pair of Honda Helixes, one of which will be piloted by LASG member Mike Smith!

The San Diego Scooter Squadron is hosting a ride that day to accompany the Cannonballers as they arrive and celebrate the completion of the run!
I'm wondering if any LASG members would be interested in splitting a truck or trailer rental (or gas money, food, bribes, whatever if they have a truck/trailer) and coming down to SD. If several members are interested, we can try to pool our resources for a couple rentals (if needed).
This will be a long day, departing LA in the wee hours, riding, then loading up and coming back at the end of the festivities. The San Diego riders have come up to join us on several occasions. Now it's time for us to do the same!
I've started a discussion to see who's interested and try to plan this:
If you're interested, please post there and we can get this ball (of scooters) rolling!
