 Occupy Long Beach is going to be there.  No idea what the size of this will be .

But its a good opportunity to hone your photojournalistic skills.

Those interested in this kind of shooting should be making contact with newspaper photo desks and editors .. make a contact list and and start submitting photos. Learn the guidelines

REMEMBER,, as always,,, we are there to shoot ,, not to protest.. always stay within the law and follow lawfull orders ...

    No idea who went but I want to see more of this type,, more street and less staged events,, Staged events are good for practice and good for filler when there is nothing else to do.

    But they have very little to do with street photography .. This was a very good opportunity.

    Those going might want to arrive early,, sometime the prep and sign making are interesting images .. I would shoot for around 1 to 1:30 to get set up and acclimate .
