I had posted the below message last message. So far, no one has shown interest to step up as the organizer. Unfortunately, this group will be shut down tomorrow. I hope you had fun. Those who are still interested email me and i'll keep you posted on any events I would shoot out.
THank you for being such a great group.
Best, Madhavi Dear Members,
I?ve to announce the closure of this group. I have many personal obligations including work and school at my end, which confine me to barely spare time, enerty & financial expenses to organize any events on this group. More over, it looks like a lot of people have signed up for this group, there hasn?t been a lot of people who have actually showed up for the events.
I shall be promptly stepping off as the organizer, before the 3 monthly meet up group dues are to be met (on the July 15th). If any of you would like to continue the group, please let me know and we?ll work it out. (If someone is willing to take care of atleast financial responsibility of having a meet up group, I?ll still like to partake street & photojournalism meet ups once in a while)
Those who have attended previous meet ups and (I really have enjoyed meeting all of you!), and I would like to still keep in touch with everyone (since I do post photography events), please get in touch with me through Facebook.([address removed]) is the email address. ( I figured having a facebook group on same topic will be easier to handle)
It?s been great to have this group. I?ll probably resume this group after a few months. I wish you best in your photography interest! Thank you for joining the group..
Street photography is the art of exploring life as it happens in the everyday moment, capturing the lives of others in a decisive instant frozen in time,
Street photography tends to be ironic and can be distanced from its subject matter , it often concentrates on a single human act, caught at a decisive or poignant moment.
On the other hand, much of street photography takes the opposite approach and provides a very literal and extremely personal rendering of the subject matter,
giving the audience a more visceral experience of walks of life they might only be passingly familiar with.
Since the 20th century, street photographers have provided an exemplary and detailed record of street culture throughout Europe and North America.
Street Photography is the process of finding situations that can be resolved into meaningful images ,, It is one of the hardest forms of photography in that you get only one chance to get it right before the moment is lost forever.
Street photography is closely related to photojournalism and documentary photography and the lines between the three disciplines is often blurred or nonexistent
