Hello Net2LA!

First, thank you to everyone who attended last month's Mix MeetUp. It was great to see a bunch of new faces, be inspired, and enjoy a couple good Blood Orange Martinis at The Yard in Santa Monica.

This month, we're back at Causecast on May 26 for a DISCOVER session featuring Micro-Blogging, and just confirmed Freelancers Union. These are two hot topics as Twitter recently won Webby Breakout of the Year and is quickly becoming a social media standard, and because of the economy, more of us find ourselves freelancers...or as new Net2LA-member David would say "creatively self-unemployed."

As some of you know, I also organize Jelly LA, casual coworking around Los Angeles. Since what Freelancers Union offers is of particular interest to Jelly LA members, they will be welcome guest to our MeetUp. Separate RSVPs have been opened for 30 Net2LA members and 20 Jelly LA co-workers.

Each Net2LA member can invite up to 2 guests, but since space is limited, please RSVP responsibly.

I'm looking forward to this one!
