The last meetup with the funny-smart-guy Carl was great. Being that there were so many users at different places in their abilities/knowledge - i think Carl did a smashing-good job at keeping the pace moving, helping newbies and yet still revealing nuggets of information / unity tips to the more advanced users. Not an easy task. It was a full day and well worth the price of admission. I vote to make that a quarterly event.

I had another time commitment. Is there any chance that videos could be posted later?

Yup. Just waiting on the info from our instructor. Keep in mind that it will be intro focused for people who are new to the platform. The goal is to cover as much material as possible in the time that we have.

Sounds like a great event. Could you remove the "@ San Fernando Road" from the address above? It screws up the Google Maps display when you click the map link.

Hey Grant/Sophie. I have a possible location. Ping me if you are still looking

Alexx, thanks for looking out. We just confirmed the location today.

Please if possible, lets keep it focus on specific topics. Examples: mecanim, c# intro, c# advance, unity2d, platform basics, sidescroller , rpg....
It would be nice to see this being a series with multiple subjects and workshops to choose from. We can find scatter info all over the web, but focus info is hard to find.

    This doesn't really excite me.

However, I've really badly been jonesing for a great workspace where we can all get together to work on our projects. Lotta chairs, power strips, maybe something healthy to eat and drink, and we can all work together, trade tips, etc.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
