(got cut off) So I think a inspector and snippet library approach with panes to edit and save directly to the server That sit ON top of firefox/safari webkit... that way if you want to create layouts from scratch there would be libraries of html/css/jquery layouts, and if you could open/edit/save directly to local/server bitmap images (a photoshop lite similar to piknik) that would remove all local client side apps - it would be awesome. Kinda like a online http://mozillalabs.com/bespin/ & avairy combo.? But of course it needs to be fast so HTML5/Canvas would be the way to go.

well speaking for myself.. Textmate and coda are the one's to beat! Dreamweaver cs5 with its firebug-like inspectors are nice.. BUT nothing beats actually designing in the browser via firebug. NOTHING.

Hello, I am working on a new tool for designers that includes HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery) capabilities. I am looking to meet any and all designers in the LA area who are interested in chatting about this project. It's in the early stages, so I'm looking for initial feedback. Please e-mail me if this sounds up your alley and we can discuss in more detail!
