[LAWS] Zocalo lecture: How Can Biomedicine Fulfill Its Promise?

This event is free, but you MUST make reservations: these events are usually fully booked well in advance. Here's the link:

Join me at the Petersen Automotive Museum for a Zocalo Public Square discussion called "How Can Biomedicine Fulfill Its Promise?"

The 21st century promises to be the era of genomically informed preventive and personalized medicine. But is our healthcare system—still struggling to introduce electronic health records—prepared for this revolution? And are the rest of us—faced with the practical and bioethical implications of this revolution—ready for the change? Biomedical innovator and businessman Patrick Soon-Shiong and Arizona State University President Michael Crow visit Zócalo to discuss the promise and the challenge of this medical revolution.

The event starts at 7:30 but seating is first come, first served, so we will meet at 6:30 to be sure we can all sit together.

Parking in the museum lot is $8. Street parking is possible.

Hope you can join us!
