About L. A. Poker Group - LAPG.org
Join our Los Angeles Poker Group! We love to play No Limit Texas Hold'em home games and most of our games are Hold'em. Several also enjoy playing other games such as Omaha Hi-Lo and Stud. The Event Host can choose their game, buy-in and house rules. Payouts and blinds are usually set by the game host. A small suggested voluntary donation is requested at the events to help pay for group costs.

Currently we have over 35+ Event Hosts and we have home games nearly every day! On weekends we sometimes have two or three games on the same day!
Our home games are FUN! We have potlucks, BBQ's, outdoor picnics, wine tastings, pool parties, inventive games, themed events as part of our home games making them a ton of fun!
They have some excellent videos and training programs and exercises that will help you quickly get up to speed as well as some advanced topics for the members aspiring to take their game to the next level. They cover advanced topics such as Chris Ferguson teaches us about Bankroll Management and Pre-Flop Play while others will teach you about common Hold'em Leaks, Power of Position and much more.

In order to gain access to the full academy programs, you'll need to earn at least 50 FPP's which means you'll probably need to make a deposit in order to earn those FPP points. If you decide to open a real money account so that you can join the academy, I'm positive you'll find the info very useful.

If you want to earn money, there's plenty of bigger games and casinos nearby so please leave us amateurs alone.
