Our trip to the Renfaire is scheduled for this weekend, Sunday April 5! Only a few people have RSVP'd for the trip, so I'm asking now for you to go to the meetup site and please tell us whether you plan to go, plan to not go, or if you are on the fence. We're trying to plan so we know how many Buy One Get One Free coupons to print.
That's right, this weekend only, tickets to Renfaire are effectively half price. Tickets are normally $25.00 a piece but if we can get even numbers of people there in our group, each person would be responsible for only $12.50 for admission! That's a great deal. One of our members, JohnRobert, has graciously volunteered to print the coupons so we need to know right away.
So, please RSVP right now. Thanks. :)
We will be meeting at 10:00, which is opening time for the faire. We will meet outside the gates and I'll have a sign, this way we can coordinate tickets and everything. Please have cash in hand so we can pool our money for the tickets. You will need at least $12.50 (exact change is appreciated) per person in your group.
After we get inside the faire we can stay together or fan out to explore the faire as we like. I think we should meet for lunch though in Ye Olde Foode Courte :) , probably around 12 or 1 (we'll decide when we buy our tickets).
If anyone else has any ideas of what we could do or what we want to do as a group at the Faire, please let me know, otherwise I figure we'll just meet up and have lunch and not be committed to anything else along the way.
I hope to see many people there. Costuming is optional but encouraged!
Please remember to RSVP.
-Kelly Ness AKA Amianda Organizer, LB Pagans Meetup Group
The Long Beach Pagan Meetup serves Pagans, Wiccans, Witches, Druids and other practitioners of Paganist spirituality and religion in the Long Beach and 562 area code.
Our Mission is three-fold:
To help pagans get out and meet other pagans. To provide community for solitary practitioners. To help students and teachers find one another.
Come to an LB Pagan Meetup to make friends, share lore and exchange powerful knowledge about spells, witchcraft and magick. We welcome all different kinds of practices, we are eclectic and this is definitely a comfortable environment to explore, learn and grow!
If you represent a pagan (or pagan friendly) organization in the area and would like to promote your events to our 300+ members, let us know. Our goal here is to build a more engaged and interactive pagan community.
We welcome anyone who is interested to host events or make event suggestions of their own.
