Introduction
I'm recently retired, widowed, lived in Fairfax for about 29 years...looking for activities to keep me busy. Hobbies are reading, writing, gardening (former Harley passenger and newsletter editor; would love to ride again).
Please tell us why you'd like to be a member of LBA50, and also tell us a little about yourself as to how you would fit into this group.
Events lead to social so they both work for me. I'm a bit of an introvert in big groups until I get to know people. I'm quiet in general and listen to what's going on. I'm better one on one.
Name the types of places and events where you are most comfortable with a group of people. In other words, describe the types of places you'd see yourself interacting best with our group members.
I like all activities, indoor and outdoor. I love the summer season and need to get out more.
What are the types of activities you'd like to attend with this group? Be specific so we'll know what you're looking for in this group.
Picnics, miniature golf, a trip to the ocean...I just think these are good ways to get to know people.
